Ahhhhh....the Tour page. This is the fun page, and of course, my favorite.

Here you will find all of the information on each of our tours, past, present, and future. We will feature links to photo albums at each event, as well as scores, winners, and upcoming events.

Availability remaining at each of the events can also be found here. Links to an entry form for an upcoming tournament can be found on the Tour page.  Whiffers will be able to track the team as we move across the country through this page. When we have interviews from celebrities at our events, they will be posted here in writing, or a link to our video vault can be found.

Many whiffers will be found on this page as our photo album will begin to grow. Who will be the first whiffer posted?

Big Whiffer Golf can now announce its 50 states in 50 days charity golf tour benefiting Gridiron Heroes Spinal Cord Injury Foundation.

Gridiron Heroes, a 501(c)3 nonprofit foundation, provides immediate and long-term resources and support to individuals sustaining a catastrophic spinal cord injury through activities associated with high school football.

The tour will begin on June 7th in Anchorage, Alaska and finish 50 days later on July 26th in Honolulu, Hawaii. Click here for a schedule of cities and states as well as the course to be played in each state.

How it works and how you fit in.....

Team big whiffer will travel to all 50 states and play a 4 person scramble event with local players completing the team at each location. A round of 18 holes will be played, the score will be attested, then we will move on to the next state for the following day's round. This same format will be repeated each day until all 50 states have been played. The accumulative total for all 50 rounds will be calculated for a final 50 round score....(projected to be a minimum of 250 under par).

Now this is where you come in.....

We need you and all of your friends, neighbors, co-workers, golfing buddies, business associates, fellow whiffers, and/or organization members that you can refer, to pledge a certain amount of cents and/or dollars for each stroke under par that team big whiffer finishes. For instance, if an individual pledges 10 cents for each stroke under par then their contribution to Gridiron Heroes would be $25.00 (based on the team finishing 250 under par). Should a business pledge 1.00 dollar for each stroke under, then a contribution of $250.00 would be donated.

Big Whiffer Golf wants to make this very clear to all supporters.........100% of all pledge money collected on the 50 states in 50 days Tour will go to Gridiron Heroes (the only exception would be if the pledge is paid via a credit card, then the customary credit card transaction fees would be deducted).

Also, any Big Whiffer/Gridiron Heroes limited edition, commemorative logo merchandise purchased during the trip, and during the remainder of 2008, 30% of all net proceeds will be donated to Gridiron Heroes.

Be watching for the Big Whiffer Golf Team vehicle on the road and give us a honk, a wave, or perhaps just shoot us the double rods to let us know you are supporting us. Check back at the website often during the tour for photos, updates, reviews, highlights, and scores as we traverse the United States. Who knows, if you come out to watch as we are in your state, you might just wind up in a photo on the website.

Let's all remember......this is a charity golf tour, benefiting a fantastic, but unfortunately, necessary organization. So while this is going to be loads of fun and at times physically demanding, we need your support and pledges to make this a successful event. We cannot possibly do this tour without your help and participation.
